I'm in the fire house today and walked past the pump panel on
the Engine. Thought of Chris standing there such a short time ago. Will
always miss you brother. Deb, hope all is well with you and the rest of
your family. Take care and I promise to be in touch soon. :-) |

:-) Hello from Myrtle Beach. Today marks the one year
anniversary of Chris's passing. Hard to believe it has been a year but at
times it feels like it has been much, much longer.
Last evening I
had invited several neighbors and fire fighters to come by and participate
in a small ceremony in the back yard around the tree planted in Chris's
memory by Maraziti, Falcon & Healey, my old firm and friends. It was
very intimate and special. I read something I had prepared, we all read
some special notes of hope for the future, Jordan and I sprinkled some of
Chris's (Pop Pop's) ashes, and then we placed some flowers under the tree.
Then we visited inside for a while. It was a special night.
Today I
spent thinking about the good times I have spent with Chris and watched my
home videos. Not too many times did I get Chris to cooperate with my
shots, but those times that I did I treasure now. It is just so wonderful
to hear his voice, his laugh and once in a while to get a little smirk out
of him.
After Tracy and Jordan came home from work and school we
went to get something to eat then a short walk on the beach. Something
Chris and I had planned on doing for the next 30 - 40 years. We will have
to keep doing it in his memory.
I vowed one year ago yesterday to
continue his work in fighting leukemia and helping others and I will keep
my promise.
I miss you with all my heart Chris but I am doing
fine.
Love to all, Debbie |

Hello Chris; I was wondering if you'd stop by your Chiefs
office in Heavens Fire House and tell him I need a little help. He knows
what I am up against, but just remind him I need him now.
Thanks
Chris.
Your Union Brother;

I wanted to let everyone know that I received a phone call
from the HLA registry last week and was elated to find out that I am one
of a limited number of preliminary matches for someone and of course, if I
am called upon, I will go further with the process. Our Angel just keeps
shining upon us in mysterious ways...Thanks buddy because you know I
needed that! :-) |

:-) Was thinking of you today my brother, spent some time
remembering your visit to my firehouse, and those visits at the hospital.
Rest easy brother and I'll see you again someday. It is an honor to have
had the chance to cross your path in this life. |

My name is mary and i am 13 yrs old. My father is a
firefighter and he is my rolemodle too! Chris Trump was a wonderful,
funny, enjoyable, cool guy to hang around just like my dad and the rest of
the boys/firefighters.I love them all! When I found out chris would not be
around anymore i crashed down with taers i have never had before. I love
my family! The boys are my more than extended family. Nobody should ever
disrespect them, they are just like everybody else. Chris was a great man.
